Products Liability: Margolis & Gallagher Law pursues products-liability claim against Medtronic makers of defective hernia mesh

Our client went to the hospital for a routine hernia repair. Doctors repaired her hernia with Parietex mesh, manufactured and distributed by Medtronic and its subsidiary, Covidien. Less than a year after the surgery, the mesh developed a hole, leading to a life-threatening incarcerated hernia. Our client experienced intense, persistent pain and had to undergo multiple operations to repair the hernia and remove the mesh.

Margolis & Gallagher Law represents the woman in a products liability action against Medtronic and Covidien filed in federal court in the Eastern District of Michigan. The suit alleges negligent design and manufacture, breach of implied warranty, and false representation.
