Berrien County (2012): Obtained post-conviction reversal of Haitian national’s conviction for CSC 2, on which he was awaiting deportation proceedings. (Berrien County Circuit Court). After nullifying immigrant’s conviction nunc pro tunc, successfully moved to terminate deportation proceedings.  (Detroit Immigration Court).

Washtenaw County (2013): Defendant was charged with Operating While Intoxicated Causing Serious Injury or Death and Failure to Stop – Causing Serious Personal Injury. Obtained a plea agreement to a conviction which did not endanger Defendant’s immigration status.

Calhoun County (2013): Immigrant-Defendant was taken into custody while on his job due to an old conviction. Wayne County (2013): Obtained post-conviction relief for Mexican National by having his conviction for domestic violence reduced to Disorderly Person, nunc pro tunc. (Dearborn District Court).

Berrien County (2013): Obtained post-conviction reversal of Mexican national’s conviction for Felony Assault and aggravated assault, on which he was awaiting deportation proceedings. (Berrien County Circuit Court). After nullifying immigrant’s conviction nunc pro tunc, successfully moved to terminate deportation proceedings.  (Detroit Immigration Proceedings).

Berrien County (2013): Obtained post-conviction reversal of Serbian national’s conviction for False Pretenses (over $20,000), on which Defendant was ordered deported. (Berrien County Circuit Court).

Ingham County (2012): Obtained a short jail sentence for Defendant charged with CSC 2, when sentencing guidelines proposed much lengthier term of imprisonment.

Washtenaw County (2012): Defendant was facing armed robbery charges. Obtained a short jail sentence for Defendant, despite a lengthy prison sentence accorded Defendant proposed per the sentencing guidelines.

Washtenaw County (2013): Defendant was facing Federal Counterfeiting and Parental Kidnapping charges, and a state charge of Parental Kidnapping as well. Obtained deferred probationary sentence for Defendant.
