Nupoor is a rising senior at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor receiving a major in Public Policy from the Ford School. She also plans on double minoring in Business and Spanish. Her formative experiences conducting legal research for the Ohio Supreme Court’s Criminal Sentencing Commission, learning litigation procedure under Chief Judge Kuhnke, and interning at the Washtenaw County Public Defender’s Office have inspired her to pursue a legal career. She hopes to attend law school (J.D.) after completing her undergraduate education. Her research interests include the social power and political economy of liberal democracy, specifically the theory and practice at the intersection between human rights and humanitarian law.
